Examples Of Past Client Engagements

  • Partnered with a national advocacy organization to develop their Theory of Change and Measurement and Learning Plan. Key in the work was aligning these organizational development processes and tools with their Strategic Plan and employee work plans to ensure they all worked together seamlessly and effectively. Jodevi Consulting also provided strategic thought partnership, grant-writing, and grant-reporting services as the organization scaled.

  • As part of a global foundation’s Strategic Planning process, facilitated a series of meetings with cross-organizational program and operational teams to determine recommendations and corresponding implementation plans.

  • Developed analytical report for a national foundation of potential grantees for long-term investment, including determination of key players and opportunities for replication of grantee approach. Worked with the foundation to create a two-year pilot program to develop a pipeline of leaders and build a national network in that substantive area.

  • Developed a Theory of Change and Strategic Plan for a statewide advocacy nonprofit, focused on youth in the areas of education, health, juvenile justice, and economic stability. Facilitated Staff and Board discussions to unearth opportunities and develop strategic approaches.

  • Conducted an assessment for the largest and longest-running foundation in a state to assess the long-term impact of a major grantee, with a focus on the impact on rural, minority, and low-income populations. Developed strategic recommendations for the grantee’s next phase of development.

  • Developed the Theory of Change for a global for-profit business to capture their intended financial and social impact and approach.

  • For a global foundation, created the Theory of Change and Measurement, Learning and Evaluation Plan for the communications and media teams, focusing on advocacy and media metrics.

  • Facilitated the Board Retreat of a major nonprofit to lift up and address Staff/Board issues; developed and prioritized a list of solutions; and created an implementation plan to operationalize decisions.

  • For a national health foundation, developed an assessment for the project to increase understanding and outreach into the intersection of health and equity.

  • Provided services to a global human rights organization working in war-torn countries across Africa to help victims of sexual-based gender crimes and to ensure the prosecution of their perpetrators. Served as interim head of the office while the Executive Director took a sabbatical. Using a participatory approach, developed the organization's Theory of Change and Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation Plan.

  • Provided leadership coaching to an executive at a state-wide nonprofit, resulting in a more effective division and more successful social change professional.

  • For a global Social Enterprise, created a specialized Theory of Change geared to linking the financial and social returns on investment.
